Brother MFC-9560CDW printer not showing up on TP-Link Deco 9 App nor MS-Windows 10
Hi TP-Link Tech Team,
Recently purchased a TP-Link Deco P9 and I am not able to setup Brother MFC-9560CDW printer on WiFi. The MFC-9560CDW shows connected to SSID with strong signal but it doesn't show on the TP-Link Deco App nor on the MS-Windows10's Print Device. How would I add this printer to Deco???
Thanks

Hi. Have you tried "adding a printer" and then "add a network printer"? I just want to make sure that is what you meant by "MS-Windows10's Print Device" If not please do so and see if the printer adds.

Hi @Carl, yes tried to add network printer within Windows 10 but it doesn't find printer. More importantly, printer doesn't even appear on the deco app which is a precursor for it to be able to show up as a network printer for any computer.
Please surface issue to level 2 or 3 support since I think it is a deco firmware issue with Brother printers.
Thanks

Most printers can print a network connection page form its control panel. Are you able to print this and share it? If you like you can send it to ussupportteam@tp-link.com so that you are not sharing network information publically. The reason i would like this is because since you said it is connected but does not show in the Deco client list it could simply be an Arp issue. 1. printing this page page trigger that arp handshake and 2. if there is an error of some sorts it should show it or a code we can research. The Agents that manage the forum are senior level escalation agents but with this information we can engage with our software teams and avoid often legnthy back and forth email chains.
