Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Have have a phone company supplied modem/router combo (fiber connection).  I do not control the phone company unit. I have been led to believe there is a way to install the M5 in bridge mode but need help getting started. Would the Deco app I downloaded allow me to do that in the settings (probably an advanced setting) or is it accomplished another way? I am not a techie but can generally follow well written-instructions if anyone can direct me a KB article to getting started. Thanks!

@Bready4325

I believe you may be talking about setting the Deco up as an Access Point.

Here is how you would do that: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1842/

Here is the difference between running in Router Mode and AP Mode for reference: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2399/
