my routerdrops the internet connction when i add my laptop thru wifi .did not have problem before just started now .I also tried with my chrome book and did not have problem.My desktop and phone is connected to the router.please help

Can you connect the laptop via Ethernet. If so update the network drivers for WIFI in the laptop, be sure you are current on your updates (router and PC), scan your computer for malware and such, and try both the 5 GHz and 2.3 GHz bands.
