Model: Archer AX50
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I just got this and hooked it up fairly quickly. I was able to get everything up and running, but then had a lot of things go down an hour later. It seems that the items that can only run on the 2.4GHz channel are having issues. I cant get my smartbulbs to get hooked up (but I had them on right after I set up the router) Netflix and Youtube on the Roku, have poor quality, like there is no bandwidth. I ran a speed test and for the 2.4GHz I got 81.5Mbps, with the 5GHz clockin in at 153Mbps. (For some reason the upload tests failed) not sure if this is where hte issue lies. Any help would be appreciated.

Many times the issue is caused when changing a router using the same SSID and password. If that is the case, on each device, delete (forget) the network and then add it back.

@ArcherC8 Thanks, but I had created a new SSID for the new router.

@Fivthwheel  Have you tried specific channels and different band widths?

@Fivthwheel

You could also try making the 2.4G and 5G different names.
