I have bought Archer AX50 to take full advantage of high speed wifi. My ISP is Spectranet (Network type - Dynamic IP) configuration. My ISP line is 100 Mbps Upload and 100 Mbps download speed line. By since i have installed Archer AX50 i am getting 90+Mbps upload speed but only 0.2Mbps Download speed over 5MHz wifi. and 40Mbps upload speed but only 0.2Mbps Download speed over 2.4MHz wifi. I have also confirmed i am getting 100 Mbps download and upload speed on Wired LAN with same router.

 

I have tested same Archer AX50 router with ISP Airtel (Network type - PPPoE) configuration and i don't see any download speed issue.

So it looks like some issue in firmware where ISP Network type is Dynamic IP. Firmware is not able to apply conflagrations properly. 

I could see Router Hardware version Archer AX50 v1.0 and firmware version is 1.0.9 Build 20200708 rel.55037(5553).

Looking for some solution either from TP-Link as firmware update to support Dynamic IP configuration ISPs or some specific setting that i have to apply to make it work properly.

In absence of the solution this WIFI 6 router is not more than a piece of junk.

I do not think we have Spectranet here in the US. This is a US based Forum where we will try and help all posters. It may be better to post your issue on the other forum https://community.tp-link.com/eg/home/forum/32 (note eg instead of us in link) as they may have seen the issue and be better able to help. Some things to check. Be sure you are using the power adapter that came with the router. Power off the modem, router, and PC, wait 5 minutes, power up the modem and wait for it to stabilize, then power up the router and wait for it to stabilize, and then the PC and re-test. Check the modem logs for any issues. Try testing with a different device. If you are using the same SSID and password as the previous router, on the device, delete (forget) the network and re-establish the network as that can cause the issue.
