Hi.
I am writing to get more information about the magnetic base included in the set of the network card. The base has a magnetic bottom. Therefore, if it is on computer casing, it may have negative effect on motherboard or other components? Second question, is it possible to connect the antennas directly to the card without the magnetic base? Does the base provide any additional advantages like signal strength, etc., and should be used?

You can place the antenna on the side of the computer shown here from our installation video:

 

 

You generally want to keep magnets away from any hard drives which can corrupt the data.

 

You could try to mount the antennas without the base. Documentation doesn't indicate the base is needed, but I would install them both ways to compare performance.
