Need AC adapter power supply for Archer C9 AC1900 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router
I purchased a TP-Link C-9 AC1900 router on ebay that did not come with an AC adapter. My unit says External power supply 12v/3.3A. I have looked to buy an adapter on ebay and have not been able to find one that produces 3.3 amps. The ones they claim work for my model do not produce the 3.3 amps the specs call for. One says his produces 1-2 amps another 2 amps.
I have a 12v 1 amp adapter that I could use, I could experiment to see if it will work.
I also have found a generic adapter on ebay that produces 3 amps and has a 5mm plug and positive center.
Which on seems to be the best choice?
Thanks for the help.

@Barry1006 PS I tried the 12v 1 amp adapter and it did not seem to work. The instructions said to wait for the blue lights to become solid. They continued to go on and off for probably 15 minutes before I unplugged it. Now I must decide if the ebay sellers items will work or go with the generic 3 amp adapter. Any comments?

@ArcherC8 Thank you. What do you think they mean by a switching power supply?

@Tony Thank you
Do you think that the item Archer C8 suggested would work? Do you think the generic 12v 3A adapter would work?

The specs of the power adapter meet the requirement so it should work, but please be aware using a different power supply other than the intended manufacturer may cause problems if the router fails from using it, and you try to get it replaced through us.
I want to make sure you don't get any surprises should anything go bad.

@Tony Hi,
I lost my power adapter while shifting home and looking for a replacement.
I called up the regional supplier mentioned on the TP-Link Website but they said they do not keep replacements. Have also written to the TP-Link support team and waiting for update.
Any help on the replacement power adapter would be helpful.
Thanks
