Does the TL-SG105 allow a port that is connected to a "POE" sourced patch cable?
Hi Team,
i want to connect a TL-SG105 with a POE port of a TL-SG1005P. Does this work?
I cant change the TL-SG1005P - so if it does not work which switch should i use instead of the TL-SG105 - another TL-SG1005P.
Thx for you help - i didn't find a similiar case/question in the forum.

Are you just trying to link to the two switches or are you trying to also power the TL-SG105 from the TL-SG105P?

@Carl only to link the both....

Then yes that would not be an issue. the ports are all Auto-MDX so no cross-over cable is needed. Just a standard ethernet UTP/STP cable.

@Carl hey Carl , thx a lot for your help. One topic is left, when I direct connect an EAP225 to the Poe switch it works.... but when I use the same cable on the non-Poe switch there is no Link/working network on that switch...any thoughts on that? Kr, Jüsi

@Carl same Port same cable....
could there be an issue because of different Crimping 568 a/b?

As long as its a standard Cat5+ cable it shouldn't be a concern but have you tried a different cable.
