There's plenty of space on C:
Deleting the driver files and downloading again does the same thing.
Never seen such error installing a driver, ever!
What gives?

I found a solution.
I installed an older official Realtek driver for chipset 8811 that it's working perfectly.
Hope this helps someone else. Cheers!

Seems like there is a second drive. Have you tried to install the driver on that one?
Additionally, you can also try installing the drivers in safe mode.

Hi Tony, thanks for replying.
Yes, I've tried installing from the 2nd drive, from the SD, from USB, in safe mode and disabling driver signature, same error...
I had to go back to a previous backup image to be able to use the adapter.
Very weird..., in 30+ years I've never seen a driver give this kind of error.

I've seen other similar instances with video drivers and printer drivers. I assume something may be lingering that the installation does not like.

Well..., TP-Link official tech support responded that they don't know what could be causing this error and cannot offer a solution.
They're blaming my computer and Windows so I'm stuck.
