Model: Archer A20
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Archer C5400X(US)_V1_191223

Hello,

Had a weird occurance today.  My AC5400X reset itself to factory defaults(not the first time it's done this) and I had to set it up again.  No biggie, I don't have a complicated network. Now, however, I have WAN access just fine on the router(speedtest router side works fine, everything reports as fine) but I have no internet access to any devices.  The devices connect fine but there's no throughput whatsoever.  I've confirmed my internet is working by bypassing the router.

I reflashed the firmware on the router and got blazing internet speeds on my pc for about a minute before everything stopped working again.

I also have a tp-link deco system with three access points.  So, I took the main one, switched it router mode and that's working fine for the time being.  But, I'd really like to get my AC5400X working again if possible.

Any ideas?

Thanks

P.S. My router is not in the model dropdown, so I just selected a random one.

Be sure you are using the power adapter that came with the router, you do not have some heat problem such as the router enclosed in a tight space, or have big power drain on a USB port.If those are all good, then my thinking is that there is something wrong with the router since it has reset it self to factory several times and the re-flash was only a temporary fix. Contact TP Link support via email, phone, or chat as it may need replacing.
