AX6000 Firmware Country-Dependent?

Model: Archer AX6000

Hardware Version: V1

Firmware Version: 1.0.7 Build 20200212 rel.7095(5553)

Hello community,

I noticed the USA page has the Archer AX6000(US)_V1_200714 firmware file for download, but the Canadian page only has the Archer AX6000(US)_V1_200212 as the latest version. Are these country dependent?

I am in Canada so I have the 200212 firmware. I read that there are some issues with the 200714 version from this forum. If anyone can shed some light on this it would be appreciated.

I would only install firmware that is on the same country web site as my router as there is a warning on the firmware page to that effect. There are differences between the 2 countries on the maximum power and EIRP level per web site https://www.semfionetworks.com/blog/5ghz-band-channel-availability-in-canada
