I ordered a a 1900 and that one worked. Is it cuz this routher is 4 years old that's why it won't work?Tnx for the help.
Assuming the router is good, I would do a factory reset on the router and set up the router's settings. It may have been in AP mode or have hidden SSIDs. Also check the IP address. See https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/150603 for more info.
@ArcherC8 Tnx a bunch. I called Tec they helped me out. Same as you suggested. I tried resetting the router but I wasn't holding the little reset button long enough. I held it for 7-8 seconds and it worked problem solved. Tnx for taking the time to respond.
