I am trying to open 2 ports for all my devices and tvs, in the port forwarding menu it requires me to assign an IP address to each port I open. I have 3 tvs, multiple phones, and 2 desktops. I'm trying not to have to create a new entry for each device.
Any ideas or am I doing it wrong?

You should not need port forwarding for most devices. Laptops, tvs, tablets, desktops, internet based home devices and such do not need it. It is needed when you want to get to a device from outside of your network such as a dvr/nvr security cameras. First you need to assign an IP address to the device, power cycle the router, add an entry to the port table, and may need to power cycle the router again. I have 25+ devices of many types and only port forward for my security cameras so I can see them when I travel.

@ArcherC8 I should have said I have a NAS located at my fathers house that I want to access for movies and tv shows from to my apartment. That is what I am pulling from.

I have never done something like that. Others on this forum may be able to help better than me.

You don't forward ports at your house because your devices are going out to the internet, you will need to do port forwarding where the NAS is located (fathers house) so whatever port the NAS uses needs to be forwarded on that router.
