DHCP Same IP
I recently switched from a Buffalo router to a TP-Link Archer A10.
The Buffalo router seemed to associate a devices MAC address with the IP that was assigned during DHCP.
On subsequent device connections (after power outage or coming into range) the Buffalo router would try to assign the same IP, if possible.
The TP-Link does not seem to do that. The dozen or so devices I connect may be assigned different IP's each time they connect. Under certain situations where I need to know the IP (such as for software development/debugging), it can be inconvenient to be frequently searching for each device's IP.
I can't recall the name for this function. Is there a setting I need to enable on the TP-Link to enable this?
Thanks,
Barry.
