Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20210511 rel.77051 (Hardware v1.6?)

Help!

Our new router is periodically causing VPN drops (5-8 times a day or more) for both my wife and my VPNs. They both drop at the same time but are via different providers (Cisco <mine> and  GlobalProtect <her's>). What troubleshooting steps do I need to perform so we can work without all the service interruptions? For the record the router we replaced had none of these issues.

@Jay9055

Are there any Onemesh range extenders connecting to the AX11000?

What kind of VPN you are using with it? Is this AX11000 brand new, or you upgraded the firmware recently? Was it working fine? If you recently upgraded the firmware, please try to reset it to factory defaults, then reconfigure it from scratch to see if it helps.

@Kevin_Z

  • Are there any Onemesh range extenders connecting to the AX11000?

No direct connection via wireless

  • What kind of VPN you are using with it?

Cisco Anyconnect <mine> and  GlobalProtect <her's>

  • Is this AX11000 brand new, or you upgraded the firmware recently?

Was bought on 5-23-2021 and installed 6-5-2021, firmware updated as soon as the new version showed a notification to update

  • Please try to reset it to factory defaults, then reconfigure it from scratch to see if it helps.

Will do so this weekend and report back
