Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.3 Build 202110203 Rel. 68223

Good Afternoon,

I have been using my new deco m5 for two days now but recently found out that I am only receiving ~325 Mbps on the 5.0 GHz wifi network and ~100 on the 2.4 GHz wifi network. When connected with ethernet, I receive up to 950. And whilst I know that the router can handle up to the 750 Mbps range. 325 Mbps is a lot lower than what I expected.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this? I live in a Dutch terraced house (373 m3).

The test was concluded on the main deco point directly connected to the ISP modem. I am using the deco in router mode.I was using the app versions of speedtest.net (Tested to multiple locations).

@Larsjarred9 short answer -- WiFi just isn't that fast ( any device ).

Long answer .. you might double your performance if you invest in a faster WiFi 6 capable Deco ( their top end models ) AND your client device has a similar high end radio.

You're unlikely to do much better on a mobile device connected to any Deco ( because most mobile devices don't have sufficient antennas ) .. but a higher end unit would allow multiple simultaneous streams at high speed which again might be faster than that in aggregate.
