Model: Archer AX6000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 Build 20210719 rel.12163(4555)

Hi,

when I reboot the router AX6000 I have USB storage visible on all devices. After few minutes the USB storage is not visible on the home net.

Is there any settings that I have missed?

What is the brand and model number of the USB storage, how about its partition format, is it NTFS, exFAT, HFS+, or FAT32? Is it plugged into the USB port directly, or it's connected through a hub or extension? Ensure you can visit it stably when it is plugged into the USB port of the computer directly.

Try the other USB port on the AX6000, try with another USB or HDD if that is possible to see if that one can be visible stably.

@Kevin_Z

Hi Kevin_Z,

I'm using DM PSSD 256GB FS200 USB key (https://www.amazon.ae/External-Solid-State-Drives-FLASHDrives/dp/B086Z5R8QY).

The USB drive has an NTFS partition formatted and it is directly plugged in.

When I plug USB in I can see USB in Media device and I can access it with FTP. After 20 min USB is not visible in the Media device but I can access it on FTP.

Do you have any other USB or HDD to test? We have reported the issue to the support engineers, they will likely reach out to you via email to continue to troubleshoot your issue.
