Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20200621 rel.76096(5553)

Archer AX3200 doesn't have OpenVPN client; so, is there a firmware that I can use to get this feature?

 

This hardware doesn't appear to be supported OpenWRT, DD-WRT, Tomato, & Gargoyle.

 

* Are there any alternative firmware options?

* If not, I can still return this router to Costco; is there a tri-band WiFi6 router that the community would suggest?

Hello, we honestly don't get advanced notice of when new updates are being released or when a feature update will be available. You can check the following thread, we currently have Archer AX20/AX21/AX90 supporting VPN Client feature, more models will support it in the future, but we cannot give you a list of them now, you can keep an eye on this topic, we will update it once there are new models that support VPN Client:
