Setting up the A7 and it is not detecting internet. Instructions call for a separate modem. Didn’t know that when I bought the router. I get my WiFi through the telephone line. All I see on line are “cable modems”.

Since you say you have internet through a phone line, I suspect you have a DSL connection to the internet. Who is your internet provider?
Contact your internet provider to see what modems are approved as they require specific brands and models of modems to interface with their system.
Thank you for responding. I get my DSL internet through CenturyLink. The router states it will work with CenturyLink but I will contact them to see what they have to say. Thanks again for the info. Bill.
