I have deco M9 on 1st floor, Main on second floor, 3rd on 3rd floor. All the Apple devices -  iphone, Mac and iPad sitting in the first floor bedroom - all show connected to the 3rd floor M9 Deco!! Any idea why this is happening. I would expect them to connect to the first floor M9 or at least the 2nd floor Main M9 - NOT the third floor M9

What's up?

Have you tried to use the Network Optimzation button in the Deco app.  When you tap this button the system re-evaluates the network and re-positions clients to the best Deco in terms of service and performance.

@Carl Thanks for the pointer. My visitor has left, but I'll try that the next time and see if that re-routes them. Also, I'll have them do a speed test before / after optimization.
