Sometimes there will be a delay when publishing the firmware on the local websites, you may get an update earlier than that. I remember Carl answered this kind of question before that "the best thing I can suggest is take a look at the site for updates every Friday evening.  Updates come out on Fridays and unless there is a holiday or PTO updates are published by the end of business that day.  If your router is linked to a TP-Link ID then you may get a notification of an OTA update sooner."
