I have installed a brand new ks230 kit which has refused to turn on.  I have multiple other smart switches (different models) around the home which are working okay.  Has anyone had this issue?

With the KS230 it does need to be installed in specifc locations and the 2nd switch is not optional like it was on the HS210.   You would want to make sure the main switch is installed on the live/line side and the secondary switch on the load side.  This video will help
