Model: Archer AX3200
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am on the verge of purchasing a new AX router. As of right now the AX3200 is my top contender. Is there any chance the firmware will be updated in the near future to allow multiple SSIDs? I know the guest network exists but I'd like to have at least 3 set up.

The AX3200 already support Multiple SSIDs.  2-for the 5GHz band and 1-for the 2.4GHz band,  You can further simplfy the network to a single SSID using the Smart Connect feature but with this disabled you will have 3 seperate SSIDs on the 2 bands available.  6 actually if you decide to use guest network.

@Carl, Thanks for the helpful and quick response. I didn’t see that anywhere in the user manual so that’s great to hear. Are the main and guest networks separated by vlans? If so, are they assigned a vlan (tag) ID so I can set up a vlan for each to separate IOT (using guest) from main network? Does all of this work if the router is in AP mode?

main and guest networks are on the same LAN and pull from the same DHCP pool but can be seperated by these features.

This is avaialble in both Router and AP modes
