I am unable to find the correct firmware for TL-WR841N(TPD) v13 from the tp-link website. Can anyone advise how I can upgrade from firmware v9?
When looking at a Product Page, if you look at the Buy Now Button, there is a button labeled "Support" to the immediate left. This will take you directly to the support page for that device. On this page you can find firmware releases, utility downloads and other support documents. There is also a dropdown to access the different hardware versions of a product. For your device, the page will be:
