Hello.  For the most part, once a product is determined to be end-of-life the production of new firmware stops.  The only time EOL products tend to get new firmware is if there is a bug or security concern that needs to be addressed.  So since there are no bugs or security concerns that need to be address the Touch P5 would not be receiving new updates
