Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: latest

Hi there everyone. I have two rentals nextdoor to my house. I ran Ethernet cable to each place from my main router at home. Each place has an Archer A7. I thought that as long as my main home router plugged into the WAN ports of the other two routers that each network would be private and only the internet would be shared. Maybe i have it configured incorrectly?

Main home router IP 192.168.0.1 <- gives internet

Rental 1 IP is 192.168.1.1

Rental 2 IP is 192.168.2.1

The issue is that both rental 1 and rental 2 can ping every device on my home network. My computer on my home network has an IP of 192.168.0.212. If i go to the rental and plug my laptop in it's ip is 192.168.1.144, but yet it can ping my home PC 192.168.0.212.

I once had netgear routers configured in this way and each network was private.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Well, i figured it out. Basically just have to select "enable AP isolation". Thanks a lot TP Link for not monitoring your forums and answering simple questions like this.
