In November, TP-Link officially announced the introduction of three new Deco Models to provide a whole home mesh network. The Deco X50 Outdoor, the X50 – PoE, and the PX50 – Powerline. You can read the official press release for the models here.
Set to release on December 20th, 2022, the Deco X50 – Outdoor is now available for preorder on Amazon. We have seen many users over the years attempt to use their indoor deco systems to try and expand their mesh network over longer distances, to other buildings, or simply to their pool. With the X50 Outdoor, your Deco Network can be officially extended beyond the confines of your walls without putting the device at risk.
AX3000 Outdoor Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6:
5GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax)
2.4GHz: 754 Mbps (802.11ax)
Power-Over-Ethernet Compatibility:
The Deco X50-Outdoor offers both PoE and AC Power Supply Options, providing both data and electrical power to your Deco with a Single Ethernet Cable. This feature for Deco was first seen with the Deco X50-PoE, released just last month.
Multiple Mounting Options:
Three Different Mounting Options are officially supported for the device: Tabletop Setup, Wall Mounting, and Pole Mounting.
Full Gigabit Ethernet:
2 × Gigabit WAN/LAN Ethernet ports provide solid internet access at high speeds.
IP65 Weatherproofing:

Sorry to hear that. However, it is not too too surprising just from a US standpoint, as we had seen so many international users looking for the model. If the global supply is managed anything like it is in the US, keep checking for availability as the page should be updated relatively quickly after a new shipment is received.

No Clue, you would have to check with your local region for details like this. While there could be different requirements or hardware - it is more likely, especially since it is listed as unavailable now, that it was not being sold through an official TP-Link channel/authorized seller. I recommend always navigating to the Amazon pages from the TP-Link site, and making sure that the device is being sold/shipped by Amazon or TP-Link

@Riley_S looking forward to adding x50 to my household with it being available. Any chance a POE Wifi 6e or 7 is in the works?

Keep in mind that we are still at the forefront of Wi-Fi 7, and 6GHz has just become more widely implemented in devices.
I have not heard any specifics about PoE functionality, but given the response to this release - I imagine we will begin to see the feature more widely implemented. I will, however, pass the feedback to our product teams that there is already a desire for PoE devices with 6E/7. I am interested to see how PoE would work with the higher power demand of the 6 GHz range.
Is there a specific need for PoE that you can think of? Would additional outdoor options or indoor PoE options be more valuable, in your opinion?

I was planning on ordering the 3 pack of indoor POE for a near future, residential new build. These seem like a great option for the basement, garage, upstairs office, etc. where the device will be seen but with a clean ceiling mount. What has held that up is running into interference in my current setup (M9) and wondering if having the 6 GHz range would solve the problem for now.
I'm not sure how important 6e/7 will be in rural outdoor setups, but my understanding is it may provide for more connectivity in suburban or urban areas. I can see it as a "nice to have". I may still order the outdoor POE for the build whether 6 or 6e/7.
