Hi. Is it ok to install the AC 750 range extender in a sideways outlet? The instructions say "For safety only plug the extender in the direction shown" which is vertically. What is the safety issue?

Hi, as for the AC750, Do you mean RE220 or RE215 or something else?
How to find the model number of your TP-Link device
Take RE200 for example, when it is vertically plugged in, it is symmetrical and could keep balance.
