Model: Deco X60
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.50 Build 20210121

Hi All.  Will try to keep this short and simple.  Have the X60 3-pack and fiber 1Gbps plan.  With Deco 2 and 3 out of the equation, connected to a fiber convertor via Cat6A cable, my 5Ghz channel will not exceed 600-700Mbs.  In same room, nothing else in house connected.  The X60 toutes 2402Mbps on the 5Ghz channel.  The 2.4Ghz channel has been turned off, and unit rebooted.  What am I missing?  If connected via ethernet to 1Gbps, should my 5Ghz channel not be closer to 800-1000Mbps?

The likely factor is the Wireless device's network card.  You could simply be at the limits of what the network adapter can provide.  6-700 Mbps is common on wireless clients.  If you have the specs of your card we can do a bit more research but this is likely what it is.

I just ran SpeedTest from my pixel 6 phone to a Deco X55 using Ethernet backhaul to another X55 and then out on a 1Gb fibre connection.

I saw 865Mbps down and 729Mbps up. 5Ghz channel of course. About 50 clients connected to the mesh but most would be idle IoT stuff. Other than my spouse streaming Ted Lasso.

  @TheOneTrueScud

That's what I was kind of expecting to be around on my iPhone 13 PRO.  Even ethernet wired to my son's up-to-date Xbox-ONE via Cat6A, everything "idle" per the Deco app, a mere 15 feet away, the Xbox speed test only shows 627Mbps.  It has a gigibyte LAN connection on it also.

I now have all 3 of the X60 units back connected.  Main unit in to a POE switch powering a new X50-PoE unit, as well as backhaul conneciting the other X60's - all hitting the same range of 600/700-ish.  Plus a M3W in my shop for service over there around 250-ish Mbps.

So I changed out the main unit to another one and same thing.  689.7Mbps down and 709.6Mbps up via the Deco app.

My ISP offers a 700Mps plan , which it "appears" that's what I am getting even though billing for 1Gbps plan.  They assure that's not the case....

The Deco app measures the bandwidth speed coming in of the service in to the X60, correct?

For $20 less, and if I'm not getting close to the 1000Mbps plan, I can drop back down.  Would like to figure out what I'm doing wrong however if piossible so anyboy else?

Thanks guys also!!
