Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello,
A few days ago, my internet stopped working completely (internet red light on router). I did lots of troubleshooting (including resetting the router) and found out the following:
When I have the 2.4 GHz wireless active, it disconnected the internet (red internet light on router) and I cannot access the internet at all (wireless or wired).
If I turn the 2.4 GHz OFF, the internet (wired and the 5 GHz wireless) works fine and no red internet light on router.
I absolutely need to have the 2.4 GHz active as many devices in my home uses it.
This only started happening a few days ago.
My firmware is up to date and set to update automatically. Please help. What can I try or do?

  @InOcean

I would try a factory reset to see if it corrects the issue.

I did do a reset through the modem interface/software on my computer connected to it via ethernet and the same thing happened when I reconfigured both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz. Then I tried the following: There was a USB drive stick also plugged into the router. I removed the USB stick and then activated the 2.4 GHz, and now it's all working fine. So I'm thinking the USB stick was causing the issue? I'm afraid to plug another USB drive into the router again.
