  @cdysthe

Hey Cdysthe, I saw your post about recently getting the firmware update for 1.9.0 for the XE75 Pros. I was wondering how you got the firmware update aand if you could send the firmware zip file if possible. As I have Three XE75 Pros(2.0) as well and I'm currently on the 1.2.9 Build 20231225 Rel. 57498 firmware. I would really appreciate it if you could possibly help me out with this.

Send me DM about it.

  @Riley_S

This has been out for quite some time now. Is there any further information available on when these features will be made available for other hardware?

Specifically XE200 in my case.

Whitelist is of particular interest here.

Thanks.

Hey Everybody,

Please Keep in mind that while this post was made a few months ago, it was still made before the firmware was widely released - meaning we are still in the early stages of its release. We cannot provide timelines on the updates and what models are expected to recieve a specific update/feature.

The goal of the updates is to bring the features to as many models as possible (especially features that require all nodes on your network to be compatible)

@Mudslideyo,

While we cannot say what models will receive what updates / features. It is a prety safe bet to say that the Wi-Fi 7 models are on the list to receive the latest update. It may simply be that the feature updates were waiting for the Wi-Fi 7 updates and optimizations to finish.

@MattPorter,

As we see more models receive the 1.9.0 or equivalent update, I will reach out to the teams for an update on the progress of remaining models if possible. The XE200 is still one of our most recent Decos and did receive the major 1.6 platform update late last year.

@gds123,

You will be able to find the firmware files for the XE75 Pro the week it is released for your version, on your product's download page (XE75 Pro). Keep in mind updates are region-specific and hardware version specific.

  @Riley_S Will this firmware support hardware version 1.26 Deco X55 units?
Because those are still stuck on firmware 1.1.0.

  @wase4711 yeah, I had 4 BE95s in my house last week. What was I thinking 3 grand. Sent them all back and got 55 pros for $200 and they're still going offline all the time. Oh well.

  @Hmajd Is both BE95s 55 Pro's are going offline in the same way, wouldn't that mean the problem is not with the TP-Link units? Also, does devices connected to an ethernet port go offline in the same way, or it is only Wi-Fi? I had problems with my old Netgear modem and my Deco's, Got a new Motorola modem and all the problems I had went away. Finally, if it's only WiFi affected by these drop-outs maybe there's some interference in your houst that knock it out? Just guessing and thinking aloud here! :)

I've got three XE765 Pro's which has performed MUCH better than my old super expensive Orbi gear. Very happy with my Deco network now. There were some issues with the firmware that came with my units, but after updating to the latest those issues are gone as well. So watch out for firmware updates also! :)
