Dropping Nest Doorbell multiple times a day
I actually replaced the doorbell thinking the old one was dying. But the new one is doing the same thing. This seems to be an issue with the mesh hub. Signal is strong, even reserved an ip address for the device. Not sure what's going on.
I know others are experiencing this. Is there a solution I'm missing?

Normally behaviors such as this have to do with the device not supporting the mesh technologies seen in most networks.
There are a few settings that you toggle to see if there is a difference in stability:
- Disable Beamforming for the Device since it is likely not supported by the doorbell.
- Disable Mesh Technology for the Device as it will not be moving around.
- Lastly, If available to your network, try setting a connection preference for the doorbell, which will force a connection to a specific node(however I believe Mesh needs to be enabled for the device)
Let me know if these do not help since I believe that the beamforming feature has been the main culprit with doorbells in the past.

Thanks, I will give this a try.
But why did this start up recently? It was working fine (as far as I can tell) up until a month or two ago.
