Local Password Unknown on NEW AX1450
Setting up my new AX1450 Wi-Fi router. Created password for Administrator.
Now it wants the Local password. Says admin and ADMIN are both incorrect.
No mention of local password in the setup instructions.
I can't (or don't think I can) get into the management screens without the local password.
BTW: I do have internet access, and the wireless is working.
Any ideas?

Turns out that this is simply a nomenclature mismatch.
"Local Password" has no official meaning; that's why the term does not appear in the instructions.
The router is actually looking for the Administrator password, which had been set immediately prior to the appearance of the prompt for Local Password.

Go to the tp link web site for your router and select support, the change the version to V1 and select the user guide. Not sure why the newer versions do not have a user guide. Follow those instructions.
