Model: Archer C1900  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 3.17.0

I have 200mbps service  from Comcast.

When I use my Apple iPhone SE (2022) in the same room as my C1900 rounter on 5gh wifi and run Xfinity speed test I get 191mbps.

When I use my Apple iPhone SE (2022) on 2.4gh wifi in the same room and run Xfinity speed test I get 97mbps.

The modem is a Arris SB6183 directly connected to the TP Link C1900 router.

 

Any advice why it is running slower on 2.4 gh WiFi?

The 2.4 will get you more distance and slower speeds. The 5 will get faster speeds but not the distance.  Also the 2.4 tends to have more interference and more traffic which affects speed.  Your settings and channel selection is a factor also. 
 

Even the router specs show slower speeds for 2.4 than 5 but the router will have higher  speeds than your ISP speeds. 
 

try different channels and band width as that may help.
