  @dfsdfedfd I have the BE550 and are having this issue with this setting not saving, which in turn is disabling the smart connect feature and causing issues with my connected devices on the network. I have reverted back to the 1.07 firmware and it works a treat. However having said that I'm not protect against the flaw that was identified in that version of the firmware.  Get your S**t together Tp link and update this routers firmware so it works, its been ages now like this without an offical release. You spend good money trying to buy the best product you can afford and this is the support you get. NOT GOOD.

Same issue for me but with a bonus of dropping wifi on Samsung devices no matter what combination of settings, channels, smart connect, etc I had the same issue on the previous firmware.

Fold 3, Fold 4, Tab S7 and Tab S8. Less frequent on 1.0.7, worse on 1.0.8. Zero issues with other networks (non TP LINK wifi 6e and 7 routers).

I'm lucky enough to have other routers I can swap out to.

Would also love wireless channel 12 and 13 on 2.4ghz buuuut that will probably never happen.

Anyway, would love a fix for this OFDMA+MU-MIMO issue. After that if I am still having problems with Samsung I'll contact TP LINK support.

I'm in Australia and had the 1.0.8 show as an available update in the router Web management and app,  1.0.8 does not exist on the Australian support page, wonder if that is intended.

Australia uses the same TPLINK US hardware version.

New firmware out for US, I haven't tested it yet, no specific mention of a fix for this issue though.

Perhaps it has fixed the issue?

After testing, the problem appears fixed in 1.0.9 Build 240521

I enabled OFDMA+MU-MIMO and it stayed enabled, did a couple reboots and power offs and it is still showing enabled.

  @dfsdfedfd

just tested it out myself, looks to be all good. MU-MIMO is sticking around and working fine.

Looks like the new 1.09 firmware working fine... So safe to upgrade to it...
