Should Alexa discover Tapo Rooms as Alexa Groups?

Hello!
When I add a device in the Tapo app, then "Discover Devices" with Alexa, the device is added to the Alexa app as expected. However, when I add a Room in the Tapo app and then Discover Devices with Alexa, a Group is not created to match the room as I would have expected. Is this the intended behavior? If so, it means I have group my devices manually/separately in both apps, right?
