TP-Link BE800 BE19000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Router - WiFi 7 MLO How does it work?
Hello everybody!
I have some questions about WiFi 7 and MLO.
Client Device: Samsung S24 Ultra
Upgraded to beta firmware due to OFMA + MU-MIMO bugfix:

How should WiFi 7 MLO work? If you enable 5 GHz and 6 GHz, should both bands be used?
Like of like 4G LTE or 5G NR Carrier Aggregation Bands?
Connection to the 6 GHz or MLO SSID makes no difference here.
MLO really seems not to work at all. Is there a way to test this?

Samsung S24 Ultra seems to have some issues providing the proper WiFi 7 info as well.
Service Menu: Call > *#0011# > right corner top select three dots then select WiFi
The above screenshot is of this service menu.
Another thing i also keep reading:
Does WiFi 7 use 160 MHz or 320 MHz bandwidth?
Again via the service menu you can check this:
If the Link Speed is 5764 Mbps then the device uses 320 MHz.
If the Link Speed is 2882 Mbps then the device uses 160 MHz.
Or better said: A Link speed of more than 2882 Mbps = 320 MHz. 320 MHz bandwidth can only be done in the 6 GHz band.
It would be awesome to be able to combine 5 GHz + 6 GHz bandwidth together. As i think MLO should do. Or it isn't explained properly.

So how do we get to use 5 GHz + 6 GHz together? Or am i misunderstanding what MLO should do?
I am trying to push my Router and Phone to the limit when it comes to WiFi 7.

Bonus bug:
The TP-Link Be800 and/or Samsung S24 Ultra show a WiFi 7 icon when the 5 GHz SSID is in the Available network list.
But once you connect to the 5 GHz SSID you will see a WiFi 6 icon appear in the top right corner of the Samsung S24 Ultra.
Also NETWORK: 802/11ax is used then. Max Link Speed 2401 Mbps.

@5Guru verification of MLO on 6Ghz and 5Ghz but only at 2.8 Ghz/sec link speed.

320 MHz on 6 GHz is 5764 Mbps
If what you say is true, would mean 80 + 80 MHz MLO. Which means we have been duped.

@5Guru No netsh command is finally showing MLO but my addapter is only connecting at 2.8Gps linkspeed. For some reason my picture isnt showing.LinkID:1 and LinkID:2 Local verify MLO activity.

BW=160 is indicating no 320 Mhz connectivity

@5Guru My other laptop still isnt showing MLO im going to have to wait for the new driver from intel, but this laptop does connect at 5.8 Gbps and thats without MLO.

@5Guru Yes i can connect to 6Ghz at 5.7 Gbps on the intel killer WiFi 7 (Be200D2W) adapter but not be200 adapter best i can get is 3.4Gbps-2.8Gbps.

@Sammael1069 yeah cool!
I use calling to *#0011# and then right top menu 3 dots WiFi.
Which is about the same.
Long story short then, both TP-Link and/or the Samsung S24 Ultra cannot do 160 MHz 5 GHz + 320 MHz 6 GHz real time together.
I have the line speed to actually test would it work. But i only get a 6 GHz connection. So MLO or just 6 GHz, are the same here.
Maybe if 6 GHz is out of range, 5 GHz is used, but that can be done with normal SSID switching as well.
Thanks for all additional information. We just have to accept that early adapters usually don't get what they expect.
