Model: Archer BE800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.5 Build 20240528 rel.49883(5553)

I have a BE800 as the main switch in my configuration.  I also have a BE550 and a RE715  setup in a mesh network and an AX11000 as a AP.  The BE550 is using ethernet backhaul and the RE715 uses wifi backhaul.  Ever since setting this up i am having issues with performance.

If I connect a system directly to each of the routers and do a speedtest I get close to the speed I would expect but I am having issues with certain types of applications.. Microsoft Teams will not connect to meetings, videos will not play, cannot connect to the roomba etc etc.  If I am on a mobile device and I disconnect from the home network and use the cell network, things start to work.

Before getting the BE550 I had the AX11000 as the access point in the same location where the BE550 is now and everything worked well.

It seems like using the BE550 as a satellite in the mesh network is causing issues.  Is there anybody else with this kind of issues?

@lcruy Anytime you have two routers in line with each other, it can cause a headache.  Best to use routers for routing and access points/Range extenders after them.  Will be less of a hassle with just the one router using AP/REs to extend your network.

@DVair I do not have a router after a router setup I am using a router as a satelite in a easymesh setup.  This is a supported configuration but as I pointed out I seem to have issues with it.  I agree with you that if this was just a standard configuration that using the BE550 as a router behind the BE800 could cause problems but in this case it should not but it does...

Anybody using EasyMesh seeing the same?
