Model: TL-SG108
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version:

I have a wired-only network.  So connecting my NetGear Cable Modem to this switch and then to my PC works fine.  Connecting any other peripheral seems to not work.  For example my LG TV and my Switch.  Any ideas on why?

Internet is coming from the cable modem into slot 1 on the switch.

Thanks

Actually the model number for this unit is TL-SG608 but seems like everywhere it is referred to as the 108 so I dunno know what that means

TL-SG608 is plug and play swicth - that means it's a unmanaged switch and it doesn't need any configuration to work properly.

Plug your PC in another switch port. If PC still works fine then unplug the PC and plug only the TV in the swich.

If TV works fine then probably your NetGear Cable Modem is in bridge mode, which means it gives only one IP address to the first device plugged into the switch.
