I have the Quad band AXE300 and have a question about the optimal setting for the dual 5ghz bands.
My 5ghz-1 band is set at 20/40/80/160 mhz and auto channel. My 5ghz-2 band is set to 20/40/80 and auto channel.
Should I set the 5ghz-2 to 20/40/80/160 also, or put it in a different width? Should I manually select channels for either of these bands?
I would keep them different as the wider the band the more likely you get interference. As far as channel selection, it depends on other networks in the area. If auto works fine then stay with that. Some like to set channels to avoid overlap or interference. Try selected chanels on one of them and see howit does.
