M5 not receiving connection in access point mode
M5 not receiving connection in access point mode
I have Fios and recently received 2 wifi extenders to use with the coaxial lines running through my house. I was previously using 3 deco m5 routers that were meshed wirelessly. The Fios extenders work flawlessly with each other and with the deco.... until I switched the deco into access point mode. In access point mode for whatever reason the deco isn't receiving a connection from the extender.

@Gryphoncall66 Not at all. It shows an address 192.168.68, not 192.168.1.
Apparently, in AP mode, the Deco does not receive an address via DHCP, hence it assigns itself an address in 192.168.68
Strange that, in the same setup, it receives an address via DHCP when in Router mode.

@yves_b well I'm glad I sent a picture lol. Is there anyway I can manually change the ip it's assigning. Something in the Fios gateway settings?

To me, "dynamic IP" in Router mode is the same as the way it behaves in AP mode.
So I have no suggestion about how to proceed in your case.
