What is happening here???

 

Sometimes it's 6 or 7 times per day. Sometimes it's 2 or 3.

 

The logs are garbage for root cause analysis.

 

I have 2 Deco BE63. 1 for each floor.

 

Please help. I'm at my whits end here

  @300BLK Through purely trial and error, I found my Samsung S24 Ultra is causing the disconnects.

 

It seems to be on a "per app" basis. Meaning when I open reddit on my phone, the network goes down. 

 

Browsing Chrome on my phone doesn't cause an issue. Just specific apps. What?

 

As best I can tell, Samsung is feeding either bad or misformated calls to the router. Usually when it's switches from Wifi 7 to 6E.

 

Net net: Even though the network administration page tells me I have the latest firmware, it's wrong. 

 

I updated the firmware to the most recent which I believe they patched the issue with Samsung. Maybe not. I don't know. 

 

Either way, this is the first time I have gone a full 24 hours with no disconnects. 

 

I replicated the issue with the apps, but the network stayed stable.

If the latest firmware you updated to is V1.6_1.0.7 Build 20240322, it should address your initial concern. Please let us know if the symptoms persist after ensuring all of your Deco BE63 nodes have the latest firmware.
