I have an old Archer C7 V2, but the lights are not turning on.
I don't have the original adapter, but the 12V adapter I'm using used to work with the router.
I don't see any oddities or broken stuff within the motherboard.
Help?

does the router work other than the lights? If so, I would use it without lights.
If not, I would start with the power adapter. A C8 uses 12v 3300mA for reference.

It does not generate a connection.
I tried it using CAT6 cables, no connection.
I'm using this adapter:
If I read that correctly, that it has 2,5 amp output.
I looked eBay and found a used C7 router priced at twenty dollars and it shows 12v 2.5 amp. So that should be enough power.
One thing to check is the plug diameter that plugs into the router may be slighltly larger and not making contact. There are two different size holes on that style plug that must mate to the pin. Try wiggling the plug while powering on to see if it makes contact.
