Brand new Deco BE63 goes offline as soon as ethernet backhaul is plugged in. Will come back online if unplugged. 

 

A few important notes:

Wifi router mode. Not interested in AP mode. 

Different ports and cords tested. Same result. 

Modem/internet is ATT Fiber BGS320-500. Limited config on that but using IP passthrough and mapped to main Deco unit. Static IP, subnet mask, DNS set within deco app "internet connection". 

 

Any config ideas?

 

TP link advanced tech support is legit only available during overnight hours to troubleshoot and haven't been able to get it scheduled.

My new pair of BE95s do the same thing, except the satellite device connects and goes offline continuously. It's up for a couple minutes, then down, then up - goes on forever.

  @AndyO I spent a while on with their support last night (unfortunately they are 12 hours away from Eastern time zone) but they were able to determine that it's not a port issue on the unit. So I'm guessing firmware/software. I'll let you know if they uncover anything. For now I'm stuck using wireless backhaul only.

The same issue came in my x55pro&x55 network with last official over the air update (1.4.1/1.5.5) firmware, so I have found more recent firmware (1.4.4./1.6)at this forum that can be installed only manually and problem is gone. I suppose firmware downgrade may work also if this is the case.fde1af543be24db49940a8bf58fb1218
