The device should work as you want it to, just will depend on how you configure the device.It is a bit dated at this point, but take a look at the KS200M user guide to see the actual settings that will be available: KS200M User Guide
The 'Normal' default funtion would be that the switch will obey the motion during set hours, and turn on/off accordingly. From there you can choose if motion will be responsible for turning on or off the light (seperately). and finally, the most recent firmware update actually added your requested feature to allow you to force the switch to ignore the motion rules on demand.
1. Added "Hold on" feature, now you can quickly double-click the switch to keep it on without being affected by the Smart Control rules
