Deco BE95 / BE33000 - 3 month heavy use, then this morning solid RED LED on both mesh units
i purchased my DECO BE95 / BE33000 (2 node mesh) 3 months ago ... i work out of the home/office and am in IT. I've used it heavily over the past 3 months without any issues/drops/etc.
Last night, both my DECO BE95 MESH NODES (main and upstairs) LED went to SOLID RED.
My ISP modem was solid green / full connectivity. No issues / problems with the ISP.
I thought the DECO BE95's might be firmware updating so i waited for 30 minutes ... no change after 30 minutes, still SOLID RED.
i unplugged the MAIN DECO BE95 for 10 seconds ... plugged it back in ... green initially then solid red after a couple minutes.
i recycled my ISP modem ... after 5 minutes, the modem came back online as solid green but my DECO BE95's were still SOLID RED.
i decided to unplug everything ... modem, deco's ... switch ... everything ... waited for 30 minutes ...then plugged back in the MODEM ... it came up fine after 5 minutes ... then my switch (of course, no issues/problems with it) ... then my DECO MAIN ... it came up solid green. i waited for 10 more minutes and powered on my 2nd DECO BE95 ... it came up solid green.
i made no changes to any hardware/software/setup, other than powering the units off and back on.
TP-LINK documenation has troubleshooting on SOLID RED ... pointing to an issue between the BE95 and the MODEM but i'm not sure where to look at this point? i mean, w/the BE95 being solid red, i wasn't able to login to see any logfiles or issues ... i was at the mercy of power off ... plug back in ... and pray

this happened to me again ... i'm a HEAVY wifi and cat8 user (brand new cabling and 10gb switches) ... seems like every 2-3 months, a hard recycle is required for my BE95 (2 node) mesh system ...
apart from that, i'm happy with the overall performance ...
... and i wish TP-LINK would provide more web-base functionality (i.e. at least all the options contained within their IOS APP to be web-based deployed) ...

@Carl on both BE85 and BE95 Decos, the Deco app and the webUI both say we have 80-odd devices connected, when we actually only have 57 total devices. This is happening with the latest BE95 beta you shared in this thread.
The Archer AXE300 and Tetger app both show the correct number of connected devices.
Other Deco users have mentioned this multiple times here and in the TP-Link subreddit but it's never been explained or fixed.
Any idea why there is this discrepancy?

Hi Richard, my two intial thoughts would be it has to do with MLO or Randomized MAC IDs. MLO is not available on the AX3000 so that could be the cause. It could also be a bug within the beta firmware. I would want to get our Developers in touch with you to help troubleshoot this. can you PM/DM me your contact email adress and the email(TP-Link ID) associated with the Deco?
