I have CenturyLink DSL (two lines "bonded") with an Actiontec c1900a modem.  It is currently in transparency mode and connected to my AC1900 Dual Bank ASUS router.  I wanted to improve my Wi-Fi range thoughout the house so I purchased the Deco BE11000, 3 node package from Costco.  I can't get it connected through the modem.  It seems to get hung up at the PPPoE section.  Do I need to force a specific MAC address?  The modem has its own user name/pw, CenturyLink has its own SSID/network name/passcode, then there is the PPPoE which has its own username/pw.  I finally gave up and reconnected the ASUS so that I could have Wi-Fi during the holiday season.  Any ideas, or is this Deco BE65 not compatible with this modem.  I could upgrade the modem with CenturyLink's newer Zyxel C4000BZ modem.

Thank you

I assume that you are replicating on the Deco the config (PPPoE, etc...) you had on the Asus router.

Is it possible that the modem, in transparency mode, expects the Deco to use the same MAC address as the ASUS router?  If that is the case, you can setup the Deco to use a specific MAC address (on the WAN port), via More / Advanced / MAC Clone.

As a temporary alternative, I suggest seting up the Deco Internet Connection as "Dynamic IP", as if the modem was not in transparency mode.
