This applies to ALL routers, but the Post page requires you to choose one, so it's hard to make a general posting...

TP-Link, I understand that you would have to make changes to your code base, and yes, change is sometimes difficult, but...we're in 2025 now and the general lack of IPv6 is just ridiculous. IPv4 is an old standard. IPv6 is much more efficient and a much better and more modern standard. Way to many ISPs are now using CGNAT becuase the IPv4 address domain is basically exhausted. IPv6 removes many "hacks" that are used in IPv4 and allows very nice device to device addressability.

Some of your routers "claim" IPv6 support, but it's kludgy and inconsistent. For example, the router identified on this post (AX3000) has "some" support for IPv6, but you can't use it to remote manage the device. This means that connecting this router to a CGNAT based ISP (like StarLink) makes the router unreachable because you can only remote manage using IPv4, even though the router says it supports IPv6. So, as a remote admin, I have to set up a local device on the LAN, remote access it with IPv6 (the only way I can due to lack of real IPv6 support), then run a browser and access the router admin page from there. This is ridiculously slow and very unproductive.

PLEASE consider being the first home router manufacturer to actually serve the needs of your customers and add REAL IPv6 support. You’re missing a real opportunity to make some real money by supplying REAL IPv6 support.
