Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20250210 rel.53421(5553)

Hello,

Mesh network, currently 2 Archer AX55 as satellites and an Archer AX73 as the "main" router.

How is connection type (wired/ethernet  or  wifi) determined?   And can I influence or change the type?

I configured the first AX55 near to and connected via LAN connections via a switch.  At first the connection was wifi then after a while it changed to wired ethernet.  I deployed (turned off, and moved) the AX55 to a location further away but still on the same LAN.  Now, the connection is only wifi.  It's been connected for about 12 hours and it's always been wifi connected. I will verify LAN connectivity and update this post ASAP.

In general, I want to ensure that the backhaul/connection type is always wired ethernet.

Thanks in advance for any help with this matter.

Oskar

  @Oskar42

THERE WAS A WIRED ETHERNET ISSUE!

Will follow up one more time after it's fixed.
