All devices connect except for mobile phones, one IOS and one Android

Multiple devices are connected to the 2.4G and 5G networks. Neither phone will connect. The iPhone says "unable to connect to HeidiHo", the Android phone "obtaining IP address" and then doesn't connet. I tried changing channels from auto to individual channles, restarted phones and router but nothing helps. Multiple PC's, a TV, and smart home devices all connect no problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Renaming didn't help either. Appreciate your time though. Might have to send this back to Amazon and by something from another manufacturer.

Turn off QoS if on.
If using special characters in the password or SSID, try without them.
After any router changes, be sure to reboot or power cycle the router.

Although I suspect something in the devices preventing the connection, I would try a factory reset on the router. You will need to reenter all your settings and power cycle the router.

Tried that to no avail. I can't believe it's the devices, 3 phones, 3 different manufacturer's, all connected fine to my old router and all connect to public wifi's outside the house. It has to be something in the TP-Link router.
Thanks for the input.

For anyone interested, the Archer A8 doesn't support wifi 6. iPhone 11 and later do not support wifi 5. The router is going back.....

That was according to Google AI, shouldn't have believed it. The Archer does not support wifi 5 as stated but the iPhone 11 and other phones I've tried do. So something else is going on. I even had a contractor in my house try to join with his phone and he couldn't so the issue is definitely with the router. It is going back and I'll try something from Netgear.

Since you are sending it back, do a factory reset on the router and see if you can get it to connect with min changes to the settings.

For interest, installed a Netgear R6700AX today. All 3 phones connected immediately. Definitely something hokey with that TP-Link router.
